🎯 Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Appian Professional with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications on the Appian Low-Code Automation Platform . The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of Appian features, process modeling, integrations, data management, UI design, and best practices for scalable enterprise solutions. This role collaborates with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end BPM solutions.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

1. Appian Application Design & Development

• Design, build, and deploy applications using Appian 21.x/22.x/23.x+ platforms.
• Develop process models, records, interfaces, SAIL UI, CDT (Custom Data Types) , and Appian objects.
• Implement complex business logic using SAIL, expressions, and decision rules .
• Configure sites, tasks, reports, and Appian data stores.
• Build user-friendly and responsive SAIL-based UI dashboards .

2. Appian Integrations

• Develop and consume integrations using Web APIs, Connected Systems, Plug-ins, Webhooks, RPA, Appian Integration SDK .
• Work with REST/SOAP APIs, databases, AWS/GCP/Azure services, and third-party systems.
• Implement Appian Web APIs for secure data exchange.

3. Solution Architecture (for Architect roles)

• Create end-to-end Appian architecture and enforce Appian best practices.
• Design scalable, maintainable, and modular applications.
• Develop architectural artifacts including HLD/LLD, design documents, sequence diagrams , and data models.
• Work with enterprise architects on integration patterns, security, and system design.

4. Appian Administration

• Manage Appian environments including deployments, user roles, and configurations.
• Perform versions, package deployment, and migration using Appian Deployment Tools, Jenkins, Git .
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize Appian applications.

5. Collaboration, SDLC & Documentation

• Work with business analysts to gather requirements and convert them into functional solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies – sprint planning, grooming, demos.
• Prepare technical documentation, use cases, test cases, and deployment artifacts.
• Provide production support and enhancements.

🧠 Required Skills & Competencies

Core Technical Skills

• Strong experience with the Appian BPM/Low-code platform (minimum 2–10+ years).
• Expertise in:
• SAIL / Interface design
• Records & Record Types
• Process models
• CDTs, Data Stores
• Appian Components & Plug-ins
• Appian RPA / IDP (nice-to-have)
• Knowledge of SQL, relational databases (MySQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL) .
• Experience with REST/SOAP Web Services .
