Paraprofessional (School-Based)
Location: Pittsburg, CA
Compensation: $18–$25/hr (based on experience and skill set)
Schedule: Full-time; hours vary depending on student age group

We are hiring school-based Paraprofessionals in the Pittsburg area to support students with academic, behavioral, and personal care needs. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students across various grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support implementation of student IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

• Assist with classroom instruction, behavior management, and daily routines

• Accurately collect and report behavioral and academic data

• Use CPI de-escalation techniques when necessary for safety

• Provide hands-on support including toileting and diapering, as needed

• Engage with students across settings (classroom, playground, transitions)

Qualifications:

• Must have one of the following:

• A passing score on the Paraprofessional Exam
• At least 48 college credit hours
• An associate degree or higher

• Open and comfortable with toileting/diapering responsibilities

• Previous experience in special education or behavioral settings is a plus
