Waste Water Treatment / Maintenance Operator
The City of Princeton is accepting applications for a full-time Waste Water Treatment / Maintenance Operator at the Waste Water Treatment Plant.
Duties include operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment equipment and lift stations, daily lab testing and IEPA reporting, equipment operation, building and grounds maintenance, and participation in after-hours on-call emergency service.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in all weather conditions, strong safety awareness, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Public works and equipment experience preferred. Must obtain a Class 4 wastewater certification within one year and a Class B CDL within six months.
Starting wage: $31.00/hour minimum.
