We are currently seeking reliable, professional Waitstaff with 2 years of experience, a great work ethic, professional presentation and great communication skills. TemPositions Eden Hospitality is a temporary firm that provides year-round work in Corporate & University Dining and Catering Operations.


Since we are constantly growing, we have a wide range of clients with various waiter/waitress needs (conference services, banquet and a la carte) which allows us to offer a wide array of temporary and long-term opportunities. In addition to providing staff with a flexible work schedule we also offer an extensive benefit package that includes a generous referral bonus.


Responsibilities:

• Follow TemPositions Policies & Procedures regarding both our company processes and on-site etiquette

• Report to all assignments on time and in correct uniform

• Maintain a professional appearance when working, ensuring that garments are clean, crisp, appropriately fitting and that you are well groomed

• Accept assignments only after confirming the position and job duties to ensure that the gig is a fit for you as server job offers will include conference services, receptions, buffets, banquets and outdoor events

• Communicate effectively with clients, guests and co-workers and ALWAYS follow the direction of the captain or team leader, regardless of whether they are part of our team or on the client side

• Set up and breakdown of events- yes, there may be side work!

• Exercise good judgement- know when to take initiative and when not to

Skills:

• Excellent communication

• Outstanding customer service

• Must be detail oriented

• Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment- things can change quickly in this industry!

• Flexibility with job duties and schedules

• Maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with clients, guests and your fellow team members

Required:

• Unexpired Alcohol awareness training certificate - such as TIPS or American Safety Council preferred

• 2 years of related Hospitality experience

• 2 professional references related to your waiter/waitress experience

• Black dress pants

• Plain black belt

• Plain black collared dress shirt that can be neatly tucked in and buttoned at the neck

• Plain long black tie

• Plain black, non-slip work shoes that can be shined- NOT sneakers or sneaker-like casual industry work shoes

• Black tuxedo pants (satin stripe on the outside of leg) is required for one client

• A Plain black vest is required for many clients

• A plain white collared dress shirt that can be neatly tucked in and buttoned at the neck is required for many clients
