• Facility Type: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital\n
• Assignment Duration: 13-week travel RN contract\n
• Start Date: January 5, 2026\n
• End Date: April 6, 2026\n
• Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• On-Call: No call required\n
• Holiday Coverage: Possible holiday coverage\n
• Charting System: EPIC EMR\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active South Carolina or multi-state Registered Nurse (RN) license\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (OR nurse jobs)\n
• Experience scrubbing and circulating all surgical cases, including cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and general surgery\n
• Highly preferred: Scrub experience with vascular and general cases\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)\n
• Radiation badge (provided by agency)\n
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system\n
• Community hospital experience required; Level I/II Trauma nursing experience preferred\n
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred\n
• Ability to work with adult patient populations\n
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred\n

\n\nOperating Room Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Scrub and circulate a wide range of OR cases: plastics, colorectal, urology, robotic surgery, surgical oncology\n
• Administer blood and blood products safely\n
• Monitor cardiac status and provide conscious sedation\n
• Respond to codes and surgical emergencies as needed\n
• Maintain strict infection control and fire safety protocols\n
• Start peripheral IVs and adhere to universal protocol (time out procedure)\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: IV, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response\n
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to adult surgical patients\n
