We are looking for an experienced Solar Installer to join the team here at Sunergy! We now offer a pay structure based on Watts installed! Pay is currently weekly, on Fridays. AVERAGE crew members will be paid $1,000-1,500 per week. Crew leads have the opportunity to clear in excess of $2,000 weekly! Come join a growing team of professionals!

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Solar Installer to join the team here at Sunergy! You will be working directly with experienced professionals. You will be responsible for working as a team lead, with area managers, updating customer install records, communication between install crews, compiling and managing customer installation photos and documents and working with teams to hit KPI metrics.

Solar Photovoltaic Installer will assemble, install, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assembles and installs solar panels on roofs and other structures.
• Configures PV systems based on site conditions and customers needs and expectations; connects panels to the power grid.
• Follows building standards and codes when installing panels and support structures.
• Inspects electrical installation and wiring.
• Tests operating voltages; calibrates to ensure systems are within acceptable power limits.
• Ensures that equipment is weather sealed.
• Performs routine maintenance on PV systems.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge of PV equipment and installation.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read building plans.
• Ability to read equipment manuals.
• Ability to use hand and power tools to install PV panels.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or technical school training preferred.
• Previous related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work at great heights.
• Prolonged periods of kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing ladders.
• Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds at a time.
