The Department of Public Safety at Iowa State University is seeking candidates for a Public Safety Officer. Under general supervision, patrols assigned area on foot or in vehicle to ensure protection of students, faculty, staff and visitors, as well as property and equipment. Provides security at Mary Greeley Medical Center emergency department and other contracted areas on the hospital campus. Controls and monitors access in and out of university buildings and monitors burglar and fire alarm systems as required. This position will be on a rotating work schedule, which may include weekends.
