Job Description

Powder Painter Shift: Monday-Friday, 5 am-3:30 pm

Partners Personnel is seeking a quality applicant to fill a Painter position within the Shipping and Receiving Department in Savannah, GA. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

1. Prepares or ensures preparation of surfaces for painting or priming.
2. Operates secondary equipment to clean parts.
3. Mixes material to produce desired finish; knows and understands paint characteristics and applications technology.
4. Places articles or material onto carts and loads/unloads paint booth.
5. Paints parts or machines to produce high quality finish.
6. Attaches decals or applies detailed paint to machinery or parts as specified by prints.
7. Operates forklift or electric transporter to move parts and prep for paint
8. Maintains equipment and ensures repair of equipment and keeps equipment clean.
9. Wears respirator and complies with all safety requirements.
10. Understands and utilizes instruction sheets, drawings, specifications, and paperwork describing job, etc. Interprets when required.
11. Reports labor accurately each day.
12. Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
13. May also support other departments.
14. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements include:

• 1-2 years+ related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and short correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one or small group situations to employees of the organization.
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Maintain reliability and punctuality.
• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Occasionally sit and climb or balance.
• Lift/Move up to 25lbs
