We're looking for a User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team to help drive the design of premier product experiences for a suite of products. You'll work across multiple product teams to deliver innovative experiences that our customer relies upon. You'll nurture and guide a product design team, help shape the design vision and the strategic direction and play a key role at a formative stage in the team's next level of growth. Why Acuity? Responsibilities Provide strategic recommendations that consider the full range of users’ cross-channel touchpoints, motivations, and pain points. Research and understand the user needs, tasks, and goals and lead the creation of relevant artifacts, such as personas and journey maps. Visualize the experience through design deliverables such as site maps, user flows, wireframes, visual design comps, and prototypes. Conduct user research, such as remote usability testing, card sorting, surveys, heuristics evaluations, interviews, and contextual inquiries. Convey the expected experience through supporting documentation, such as user stories, requirements, functional annotations, and design systems. Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, or comparable degree; or experience in user experience design. Shall have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the Information Technology field focusing on engineering projects with specific Business and UX Design. Ability to design across devices, from desktop to mobile, and across systems, from browser-based websites and apps to native apps for mobile. Proficient in the execution of design deliverables such as sitemaps, wireframes, design comps and prototypes. Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma and Sketch. Experience with research and usability testing tools such as UserTesting.com, Userlytics.com, OptimalSort and Treejack. A deep understanding of the end-to-end Experience Design capabilities and how they work together. Required Clearance: US Citizenship required and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability.
