Job description for Import Operator

We are seeking a bilingual Import Operator (English/Japanese) to join an established import company specializing in medical device components and industrial lighting products. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a collaborative and positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities for Import Operator

• Coordinate with freight forwarders and other vendors for quotations and shipment arrangements
• Manage logistics schedules with carriers and transportation partners
• Handle labeling, inventory management, and related documentation
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate shipment records
• Communicate effectively with Japanese manufacturers and domestic stakeholders

Qualifications for Import Operator

• Fluent in both Japanese and English
• Positive and professional mindset, with the ability to contribute to company growth
• Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently without waiting for instructions
• Valid U.S. work authorization

Work Hours for Import Operator

• MonFri: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM / in-person

Compensation for Import Operator

• Entry level: $40K50K /year
• Experienced: $5060K /year (DOE)
