Health IT Project Manager - Remote

We are seeking a highly experienced, strategic Health IT Project Manager to oversee complex software development projects, preferably within the healthcare sector. The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end task order performance and will serve as the primary liaison between our technical teams and the federal client.

This role requires specialized expertise in SAFe Agile methodologies and a proven track record of managing multi-vendor, multi-task contracts to ensure successful program delivery from inception through deployment.

Key Responsibilities
Program Management & Client Liaison:

• Serve as the primary liaison to the CMS Contracting Officer's Representative ( COR ) and Contracting Officer ( CO ), responsible for overall task-order performance, compliance, and reporting.
  
• Demonstrate capability in managing multi-task contracts of high complexity, including scope management, schedule control, and risk mitigation.
  
• Provide clear, practical guidance and direction to technical teams on tasks similar to those found in large-scale federal software development projects.
  
• Lead cross-contract coordination efforts, ensuring seamless integration and communication across multiple subcontractors and third-party vendors .
  

Technical & Agile Leadership:

• Direct the SAFe Agile engineering project development lifecycle from initiation to final deployment, ensuring adherence to modern engineering practices.
  
• Apply general experience in information systems design and management to effectively lead larger technical teams (developers, analysts, engineers).
  
• Oversee and manage all phases of complex software development projects, ensuring solutions are delivered on time and meet quality requirements.
  

Financial & Resource Control:

• Exercise proven expertise in managing and controlling funds and resources to ensure projects remain within budget and maximize efficiency.
  
• Implement effective financial tracking and reporting mechanisms consistent with federal contract standards.
  
• Manage resource allocation and workload balancing across technical teams and vendor partners.
  

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience in managing complex software projects ; experience with federal Health Care projects (e.g., CMS, HHS, VA) is strongly preferred.
  
• Specialized expertise in the SAFe Agile framework, demonstrated through successful project development from inception to deployment.
  
• Demonstrated capability in effectively managing multi-task contracts and providing senior-level oversight for technical teams.
  
• Proven ability to serve as a high-level program delivery manager responsible for cross-contract and multi-subcontractor coordination.
  
• General experience includes increasing responsibilities in information systems design and management.
  

Education and Certifications - Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  
• SAFe Agile Certification (e.g., SAFe Agilist, SAFe Practitioner).
