We are looking for an excellent Dental Assistant to join our Dental Practice!

Must have Schooling or Office experience as a Dental Assistant to be considered for this position.

Job Duties:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Take patients' medical history, blood pressure, and pulse.
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
• Provide Pre/Post OP instructions for oral care following surgery or dental treatment procedures.
• Teach patients oral hygiene to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling).
• Take impressions of the patient's teeth for study casts (models of teeth).
• Chart/enter a treatment into Dentrix Ascend.

Desired Profile/Background:

• MUST LOVE WORKING WITH CHILDREN.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Clean, neat professional appearance.
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Must be available to work 2 Saturdays a month.

Job Type:

• Full-time

• Mon-Fri 8:00 am- 5:00 pm and 2 Saturdays a month 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
• Pay rate $20.00-$23.00
