This 10 week paid internship program will kick off in June 2025, and provide exposure to our e-Commerce centers and technology innovations that are truly disrupting the luxury retail industry. CyberSecurity Interns will join our team at The RealReal, participating in its daily life. You'll participate in CyberDefense operations, design and build automation and information security controls, and work on pre & post event analytics. The first few weeks of your internship will be ramping up and tackling smaller tasks - after which you will tackle a signature project, intended to ship to production. These projects are appropriately scoped, will provide meaningful business value, and will be presented to senior executives at the end of your internship. At the end of your time at The RealReal, you'll walk away with valuable experience working in an organization at scale - and a feature you can be proud of that survives you! **This is a 10 week internship from 6/2/2025 - 8/8/2025.** What You Get To Do Every Day Take a proactive role by contributing thoughtful and valuable work, taking ownership of assigned tasks, and collaborating with your peers Find innovative solutions to unique business challenges and continuously evolving needs, constantly iterating and learning as you go Partner with mentors to review work, discuss goals and experience while ensuring defined projects are on target for completion Monitor CyberDefense event feeds, analyzing threats and prioritizing risk Participate in incident handling, triage, and remediation Design and build automation for CyberDefense event workflows Participate in the vulnerability management lifecycle Be exposed to bug bounty and penetration testing Complete a signature project, intended to ship to production What You Bring To The Role Minimum Requirements: Rising Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, CyberSecurity, or MIS An organized approach to prioritizing projects and the ability to multitask Aptitude to dive deep into problem solving and analysis with high attention to detail Want to make a meaningful impact on the world around you Preferred Requirements: Experience with Python Experience with Linux Experience with Cloud Computing, especially AWS Compensation, Benefits, + Perks This role is not eligible for benefits. The expected hourly rate for this role is 30.00-38.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR's total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
