Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst
Employment: 28-month contract – 4-month initial term with 2 options for 12-month renewals
Location: Regina, Saskatchewan – onsite

Overview:
Our client in Regina, SK, is looking for several Cyber Security Analysts for an initial 4-month contract with the option for multiyear renewals. This is an onsite role, and the successful candidate(s) must currently reside in the Regina area or be willing to relocate for the duration of the contract.

What you will be doing:

  • Enterprise Security is responsible for all aspects of security within the organization, including cyber, physical, and personnel security.
  • Collaborate with the SCADA and Automation teams to provide security for the Industrial Control Systems Network and work with the Information Systems team to secure the corporate IT infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the ongoing expansion of the Enterprise Security department’s scope of practice by joining a growing team.

What you must have:

  • Minimum 5 years of technical Cyber Security Engineering or Analyst experience.
  • Experience in Cyber Security Incident Handling and Response.
  • At least 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and operating technical controls or activities in the following domains:
    • Identity and Access Management (AD, PAM, IDM)
    • Network Security (IDS/IPS/NGFW, NAC, Web Proxy, VPN)
    • Email Security and Endpoint Security (EPP and EDR, Mobile Security)
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Secure Web Gateway technologies such as Zscaler, Palo Alto, and Netskope.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or SANS GIAC are considered beneficial.
  • Experience securing Datacenter Virtualization and Network technologies.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain security processes and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Microsoft Active Directory Security
    • Windows Operating Systems Hardening
    • Microsoft XDR Security Stack
  • Experience conducting Threat & Risk Assessments, Security Monitoring (SIEM, Centralized Logging, UEBA, SOC processes).
  • Knowledge and experience in Offensive Security, Programming, or Application Development, including:
    • Pen-testing, Vulnerability Assessment, Python, PowerShell, .Net, Java, DevSecOps, KQL
  • Experience in Database Security, CASB, and DLP.
  • Skills in designing, implementing, and operating security technical controls or activities in Cloud Services (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, Office 365).
  • Familiarity with ISO standards (27001/27017/27018/27032), NIST, and MITRE ATT&CK Frameworks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
