The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a visionary and results-oriented Chief Marketing Officer to lead their expansion in the e-commerce sector. This pivotal role is focused on identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities with mid-market and enterprise-level e-commerce companies. You\'ll be responsible for the entire marketing cycle, from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closing.

What You Will Do

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to generate new leads and build a strong marketing pipeline within the e-commerce sector.

• Lead discovery calls and product demonstrations to understand client needs and effectively communicate the value proposition of our SaaS platform.
• Manage the full marketing cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing new deals.
• Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to refine sales materials, messaging, and go-to-market strategies based on market feedback.
• Track and report on marketing activities, pipeline, and key metrics to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and new e-commerce technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking a Chief Marketing Officer with proven experience marketing SaaS solutions to e-commerce or retail clients. Candidates from parallel industriessuch as digital marketing, supply chain technology, or B2B softwarewith a successful history of building and closing new business will also be strongly considered.
