Job Overview

The Accounts Payable & Accounting Process Manager will oversee invoice auditing, payment processing, vendor management, and financial reporting while implementing best practices for cash flow and budget management . This role plays a key part in maintaining financial accuracy, optimizing expenses, and ensuring timely payments to support the overall success of Atlas Restaurant Group.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Invoice Auditing

• Oversee the accounts payable function, including invoice processing, approvals, and timely disbursement of payments .
• Audit vendor invoices for accuracy, proper approvals, and compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

Cash Flow Management

• Monitor cash flow projections to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
• Manage AP aging reports to prioritize payments while optimizing working capital.
• Develop and implement strategies to balance outgoing payments with incoming revenue .
• Work closely with finance and operations teams to forecast cash needs and adjust spending accordingly.

Budget Management & Expense Control

• Assist in creating and managing operational budgets for restaurant locations.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
• Collaborate with leadership to set spending limits and track expenses against budgets .
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Identify efficiencies and automation opportunities in AP and financial workflows.
• Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and reports .
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and industry regulations .

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Three or more years of experience in accounts payable, cash flow, or general accounting (preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial processes .
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Restaurant365, or similar).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills .
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills .
