Overview Accountant II. Prepares and maintains accurate accounting records using established policies and procedures in order to properly reflect BMHCC's operating results and financial position. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Responsibilities Exhibits expert knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), including financial reporting, and applies these principles in all aspects of work. Performs complex analysis of data and reconciliations. Supports departmental operations. Completes assigned goals. Qualifications Experience Description: Accounting or Finance Experience Minimum Required: 1 year Preferred/Desired: 2 years Education Description: Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. Minimum Required: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. Training Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Special Skills Minimum Required: Spreadsheet skills, word processing skills, 10 key calculator, computerized financial systems, good communication and customer service skills. Preferred/Desired Licensure Preferred/Desired Reporting Relationships Does this position formally supervise employees? If set to YES, then this position has the authority (delegated) to hire, terminate, discipline, promote or effectively recommend such to manager.
