Canyon Lake is the location of The Summit Vacation Resort Tree Top Villas. The lake itself is only three miles away and offers waterskiing, boating, and scuba diving. The Shores at Lake Travis is a complete recreational community situated on more than 5,000 acres with 11 miles of Lake Travis shoreline offering powerboating; fishing; waterskiing; tennis; swimming; shuffleboard; volleyball; horseshoes; and a games room with board games, Ping-Pong, and a pool table. There are two country clubs open to the public and one nine-hole golf course close by. Austin offers the LBJ Presidential Library, several museums, musicals, theaters, and sporting events.
