Summary/objective

The granite warehouse employee is responsible for loading and unloading natural stone, quartz, and solid surfaces.

Essential Functions

• Assure the quantity and quality of material for sales and transfers.
• Move slabs for viewings via a forklift.
• Arrange slabs properly by forklift in the warehouse.
• Maintain yard and forklift in working order.
• Must be able to pass forklift certification
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; Placing orders in the delivery area.
• Ensure that all merchandise is securely packed and labeled for shipment.
• Provide a quality service following the standards of the organization.
• Preserves safe and clean work environments by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations tidy and tidy.
• Promoted a clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to the team's effort by achieving related results as needed.
• Help with training new employees

Education and experience required:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Positive, detailed, customer-oriented attitude with good multitasking and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills; both verbally and in writing
• Basic math and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented mindset, data entry, and computer skills
• Ability to work on feet for long hours
• Understanding security protocols and requirements
• Experience in shipping and/or receiving
• Forklift experience

Preferred education and experience

• Bilingual
