Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Virtual Health Coach to support individuals in achieving their health and wellness goals. As a Virtual Health Coach, you will work with clients remotely to develop personalized plans that promote healthy behaviors in areas such as nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and lifestyle habits. You’ll use evidence-based techniques, including motivational interviewing and goal-setting strategies, to drive positive, sustainable outcomes.

Duties

•Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions via phone, video call, or messaging platforms.
•Assess clients’ current health status and wellness goals.
•Develop customized wellness plans tailored to client needs and preferences.
•Provide guidance on nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, stress reduction, and behavior change.
•Monitor client progress, provide ongoing support, and adjust plans as needed.
•Document interactions and maintain accurate client records.
•Educate clients on health-related topics and encourage self-efficacy.
•Collaborate with healthcare providers or team members when appropriate.
•Stay current with industry trends, research, and best practices.

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, nutrition, kinesiology, psychology, or related field (preferred).
•Certification as a Health Coach (e.g., NBC-HWC, ACE, IIN, Wellcoaches) strongly preferred.
•1–3 years of experience in health coaching, wellness, or related role.
•Strong understanding of health behavior change models and wellness principles.
•Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
•Comfortable with digital tools, platforms, and electronic health records (EHRs).
•Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple clients.

Nice To Haves

•Bilingual or multilingual capabilities.
•Experience with chronic condition management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension).
•Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality practices.
•Familiarity with telehealth or virtual care platforms (e.g., Zoom, BetterUp, Teladoc).
