Company Overview : Interactive Films is a dynamic and innovative production studio under Snail Inc. dedicated to creating compelling and engaging short-form narrative content such as vertical web series and FMV. Our Marketing Department plays a crucial role in bringing vertical series to life through engaging visual content. Position Summary : We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video, with experience in editing trailers, gameplay footage, and promotional content. This individual will lead the charge in ideating and generating engaging video content for Interactive Films. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of visual storytelling, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities : Create and edit video content for trailers, gameplay, promotional materials, podcasts, video ads, short form videos, and social media. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute creative video concepts. Work closely with in-house production team and cross-functional teams to ensure collection and delivery of video assets are met in a timely manner. Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and project goals. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in video editing, preferably within the gaming or entertainment industry. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Blender, After Effects, Photoshop). Experience in 3D design is a plus. Strong storytelling skills and a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proven expertise working within web series, vertical series, and mobisode production, with the ability to link to specific IPs. Must have a thorough understanding and appreciation for short-form romantic dramas and made-for-mobile digital content. Portfolio linking to social media channels and accounts grown with sole-produced content and engagement methods. Please ensure varied examples of posts and reels are included so we can assess style compatibility with our brands. Extensive understanding of the #booktok, #bookstagram, and #booktok markets. Compensation : Salary Range : $65,000 to $85,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
