Description Vehicle Rental Agent - Cadillac Buick GMC: The Sewell Family of Companies is seeking a highly motivated and organized Vehicle Rental Agent to join our service team. As a Vehicle Rental Agent, the individual will support our service team by maintaining organization within our loaner fleet, preparing vehicles, and providing excellent customer service for our guests. The individual must be an organized team player willing to work in a fast-paced environment. The Vehicle Rental Agent plays a critical role in supporting day-to-day operations and contributes to the success of the team.
Job Responsibilities: - Prepare vehicles for estimated customer arrivals via appointments
- Maintain quality inspections of vehicles before and after loaners are given to ensure they meet company standards and are safe for customers to operate
- Track vehicle fleet by organizing vehicle locations and outgoing reservations
- Assist service team in attending to customers
- Be proactive in maintaining and balancing loaner maintenance schedules, customer transactions, and loaner vehicle exchanges
- Keep a positive and helpful attitude while answering customer questions and concerns
Schedule: 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays
Qualifications: In order to be successful in this position, the individual must be able to perform each job responsibility satisfactorily, have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, complete a drug screening, background screening, and provide all government I-9 requirements. A combination of education, experience, and training is always considered.
