The Van Driver will provide reliable transportation between Chester and Swarthmore for children who take part in the Chester Children's Chorus program.
Essential Responsibilities: Tasks performed include ensuring the safety of passengers, accounting for all children at pick-up and drop-off points, assuring children's orderly behavior, and enforcing all motor vehicle safety laws.
Additional Responsibilities: Drivers may be asked to drive for special concerts or appearances.
Required Qualifications: Qualified candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience, skills and interest in working with children is essential. Must be able to work independently and make mature decisions in unanticipated situations. Must have a valid driver's license and pass criminal, child abuse, and driving background checks. Must be at least 25 years old to meet insurance requirements of rental agencies.
Preferred Qualifications: Van driving experience not essential, but it is preferred.
