Job Description

Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our guests. We are seeking friendly and professional Valet Attendant to join our team 30 hours per week.

The ideal candidates will be responsible for parking and retrieving guests' vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Greet guests upon arrival and departure with a friendly and courteous demeanor.



• Promote the courteous treatment of customers and resolving guest service issues while ensuring you are ready to go at all times to guarantee customer has minimal wait time.



• Safely park and retrieve vehicles for guests.



• Maintain a clean and organized valet area.



• Display excellent public relations skills while providing information, giving directions, and providing wheelchair assistance, etc.



• Explain parking procedures clearly to patients and guests.



• Assists patients and visitors with directions and other inquiries as needed.



• Adhere to all safety and traffic regulations.



• Maintain accurate records of parked vehicles and keys.



• Communicate effectively with team members and management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.



• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.



• Ability to drive and safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.



• Ability to work in various weather conditions.



• Previous valet or customer service experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.



• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.



• Must be able to push and pull (on wheelchair) 100 to 350 pounds, frequently over considerable distance.



• Requires full range of motion.



• Ability to work flexible schedules and extended hours is sometimes required.
