Job Description

Under the supervision of the Director, the Staff Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring patient drug therapy needs are safely and effectively met. Key areas of responsibility include clinical pharmacy, drug distribution, teaching, administrative duties, and research. The Staff Pharmacist must ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and healthcare policies.

Responsibilities Include:

• Support unit dose and IV admixture operations
• Utilize hospital EMR and pharmacy management systems
• Apply both technical and clinical pharmacy practices
• Maintain compliance and uphold safety/quality standards
• Communicate effectively with clinical care teams
• Participate in teaching and administrative assignments as needed

Requirements:

• Hospital pharmacy experience required (not solely retail)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Proficiency in computer and medication distribution systems
