Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR) Days
Location: Fort Wayne, IN Start Date: 10/27/2025 Duration: 13 weeksShift Details:
Days: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (four 10-hour shifts per week)
Weeknight call required: 1 call night every other week
Floating: Not required
Guaranteed Hours: 72 bi-weekly (96 bi-weekly not available)
Position Overview:
Join a fast-paced specialty orthopedic hospital providing care for patients undergoing orthopedic, spine, and trauma procedures. The Travel OR RN is responsible for perioperative patient care, ensuring safety, assisting surgeons, and supporting the OR team.Requirements:
RN licensure in IN required
ACLS and BLS required
1–2 years of OR experience required; orthopedic experience preferred
EMR: Cerner
Scope of Role:
Specialty Orthopedic, Spine, and Trauma procedures
Total joint replacements, major spine surgeries, and trauma cases
Unit/Facility Details:
Facility: 9 ORs + 1 procedure room
Patient ratio: 1:1
Monthly department volume: ~500 patients
