Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Pasadena, Texas.

·  TNCC,ENPC,PALS,ACLS,BLS, CPI/TIC

·At least a year ED experience

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· BSN or higher

· CEN or any certification is a plus

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):   

· Thoracotomy- open, Arterial line and CVP readings,

· Ultrasound IV placement, Target temperature management, critical medication drips and titration

·Number of Beds - 25

·Number of Staff – 65 FTEs

·Type of staff:

o Day Shift – ANM- 1, RN-9, EMT-3, US-2

o Night Shift – ANM-1, RN-9, EMT- 3, US-1

·Patient Ratios – Minimum 4:1 maximum 5:1 if all possible

·Type of equipment – rapid infuser, vein finders, TTM machines, CVP and Arterial lines, BS U/S, Warmer

·EMR – ED Medi-tech
