Requirements:
2+ years of experience working as MLT.
Active ASCP Certificate.
Active BLS

Job Description:
Type of equipment: Ortho 7600, Ortho 5600, Ortho Vision, Sysmex 1000, Sysmex CA600, ID Now, Clinitek Advantus, MedTox, iStat, Bactec
EMR (Epic, Cerner, etc)
· Medical Laboratory Technician to perform tests requiring limited skill and responsibility and exercise independent judgment minimally, as competency is demonstrated.
· Accuracy: Maintains acceptable accuracy in-patient, quality assurance, proficiency and competency testing.
· Critical Thinking: Uses clinical/theoretical knowledge to analyse, investigate, interpret and report lab data.
· Job Knowledge: Maintains current personal training, education and practice of policies and procedures. Productivity: Practices organizational skills for efficiency of time, materials, cost and availability of lab data.
