• Position: Supporting Documentation Specialist
• Location: San Antonio, TX
• Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (On call after training)

THE POSITION:

We are looking for a full time Supporting Documentation Specialist to join our exceptional customer service team who is committed to helping our patients thrive. Our Customer Service department is a fast-paced, high-energy environment and you'll find yourself challenged and required to use critical thinking every day through a variety of in-person, email and phone conversations. You will also be surrounded by a close-knit and supportive group who all have the same dedication to serving medically complex children and their families.

• Obtaining prior authorizations and statements of medical necessity
• Maintaining of patient records
• Patient supply & service orders
• Collaborate with referrals to create and streamline supporting documentation
• Ensure accuracy of supporting documentation to meet compliance and regulatory requirements

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Durable medical equipment (DME) intake/ admissions experience preferred
• Exceptionally organized, multi-tasking, problem solving and communication and strong keyboard skills. A high level of initiative combined with a customer service mentality is also required.
• Experience in Brightree EHR a plus!
• Experience in obtaining title 19 with health care providers

The majority of the clients we serve are age's birth through 21 years old and have a variety of technologies that might include a trach, ventilator or g-tube.
