Summary
\nWill perform delegated tasks, under the direct supervision of the RN Preceptor. Promotes continuity of care by communicating with interdisciplinary team and family as appropriate. Able to work with the age specific populations according to the setting. The intern is not permitted to function independently for the primary duties listed below and is considered a technician under the supervision of the Registered Nurse preceptor.
\n\nOpportunities available in multiple areas including: GCU, MSU, PCU, ER, OB, Surgical, Clinic, and Float Pool.
\n\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Senior level student in good standing of a nationally accredited nursing program. Must be within 12-18 months of graduation.
\n\nOTHER CREDENTIALS / CERTIFICATIONS: Current BLS certification.
