Nature & Purpose of Position:The SHSU Department of Art Galleries are hiring for the position of Gallery Attendant. The position offers up to 20 hours per week. Requirements and duties are listed below:Requirements:- Students must be a declared SHSU art major- Student must have a GPA no lower than 3.0- Student must be willing to work weekends and evenings as neededDuties:- Greet and monitor visitors to gallery during open hours- Assist with art installation, de-installation, and gallery repair as needed- Follow all University and gallery policies during working hours
