The Opportunity Our Government Health and Human Services (HHS) team collaborates with state agencies nationwide to manage human services, Medicaid, public health, behavioral health, and other critical services. Your Key Responsibilities As a Senior Manager on the Human Services (HHS) team, you will manage daily activities, foster relationships with Human Services agencies, and drive growth and delivery. You will spend approximately 60% of your time on business development, origination, and capture efforts, and 40% on delivering services to clients. Your role includes overseeing project parameters, resource planning, and managing client and contract expectations. Key capabilities include: Experience with state Human Services organizations, including policy, processes, and platforms Knowledge of Human Services programs such as behavioral health, child welfare, childcare, and eligibility systems Proficiency in program management, project oversight, and relevant industry platforms Fostering collaboration and an inclusive environment Strong organizational, multitasking, and deadline management skills Leadership in engagement planning and execution Contributing to business development through proposals, presentations, and thought leadership Effective communication with partners and clients Building impactful relationships and generating new business opportunities Sharing industry insights and best practices Managing and motivating high-performing teams, supporting recruitment, retention, and development Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field At least eight years of relevant industry or consulting experience with proven client impact and team leadership Experience working with state agencies in areas like project transformation, business modeling, strategic alignment, resource management, innovation, change management, and process improvement Expertise in behavioral health, child welfare, childcare, child support, and eligibility systems Ability to develop long-term client relationships and a portfolio of new business Proven mentoring and staff development skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher (preferred) Travel may be required within and beyond your geographic region, with up to 40% travel preferred in certain practices. Preferred Qualifications Portfolio and project management experience Scrum Master certification Lean Six Sigma Black Belt What We Offer Our comprehensive compensation and benefits package recognizes your performance and value. Salaries range from $148,900 to $340,200 nationally, with higher ranges in NYC, Washington, and California.
