Job Description
A Senior Trust Accountant needed for midsize company located in the City of Industry.
This role manages the financial records and transactions of a trust on behalf of the trustee.
They ensure that the trust's assets are properly handled and that all accounting complies with legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements.

Key duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Maintains detailed and accurate financial records of all trust-related transactions, including income, expenses, receipts, and disbursements.
Regularly reconciles the trust's bank accounts and other financial records to resolve any discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
Prepares comprehensive financial statements for the trust's beneficiaries and provides
them with clear, transparent information about the trust's financial health.
Helps value and track the trust's assets, which can include real estate, investments, and bank accounts.
Ensures all trust accounting procedures adhere to state trust laws, specific trust agreements, and other relevant regulations.
Manages the tax activities for the trust, including the preparation of required federal,
state, and local tax returns.
Handles the calculation and distribution of trust income and assets to beneficiaries according to the terms of the trust.
Requirements:
BA/BS Degree Required.
Min of 3 years of experience.
Strong general ledger accounting experience.
Adv Excel skills,
Excellent communication and detailed oriented.
