This opportunity seeks experienced Paraeducators and Behavior Technicians to support K-12 students in a school environment located in Downey, CA. The position is a contract role lasting for the current school year (CSY), focused on assisting with classroom activities and behavior support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instructional and behavioral support to students under the guidance of classroom teachers and specialists.
• Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
• Monitor and document student progress and behaviors.
• Support classroom management and create a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to enhance student learning and development.

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or behavior technician in a K-12 setting.
• Basic understanding of special education strategies and behavior management techniques.
• Ability to work effectively with children exhibiting diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to supporting educational goals.
