MEMCO Atlanta is hiring for Skilled Scaffold Erectors in Atlanta!

• Schedule: Mon - Fri 7am - 5pm; OT available
• Pay: $20 - $25/hr; BOE

Job Overview :

As a Skilled Scaffold Erector , you’ll assemble and dismantle scaffolding systems for commercial projects, ensuring worker safety and scaffold stability.

Your role is critical in providing secure platforms for construction teams to work efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assemble and dismantle scaffolding based on blueprints, specifications, and safety regulations
• Inspect and maintain scaffold components, addressing defects or hazards promptly
• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines, proactively mitigating risks
• Coordinate with crews and supervisors to meet project deadlines
• Troubleshoot scaffold issues and adapt to changing project needs
• Maintain accurate records of scaffold work and inspections.

Qualifications :

• Reliable transportation and ability to pass preemployment testing
• Must provide your own harness
• Experience in scaffold assembly, particularly in commercial or industrial projects
• Knowledge of scaffold components and safety standards
• Ability to read blueprints and work at heights in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills
• Preferred : Certifications such as OSHA 10/30 or Scaffold Builder Certification.

Working Conditions :

• Work outdoors at heights and in various weather conditions
• Requires lifting, bending, and confined space work
• PPE (helmets, harnesses, goggles) required
• Irregular hours and overtime may be necessary to meet deadlines.

A pre-employment drug screen will be required for this position.

Must provide documents establishing identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
