A manufacturing company is seeking a Set Up Technician to provide services and support necessary to maintain production of all plastic molding machines while producing quality parts. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Duties:

Observe all requirements for ISO 9001
Properly install and set molds in machines, start machines with the proper settings to produce a quality part, troubleshoot machine and process to maintain part quality, and properly shut down machines
Interpret production computer to prioritize work
Proper install and operate auxiliary equipment and identify and react to defective parts
Interact and communicate with other personnel and departments to maintain and improve quality
Start and maintain processes to achieve maximum machine efficiency
Use hand tools correctly and safely and keep work area in an orderly condition
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must have previous experience with setting up machines
Must have a tow motor certification
Pushing and pulling is a big part of the job when handling molds and setting or removing molds from machines
Must be able to visually inspect parts on a continuous basis
Must be able to read and comprehend written and computer instructions
Must be detail-oriented and safety-conscious
Must have the ability to maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
Must be comfortable walking, standing, and being on your feel most of the shift
Must have a valid and clean State of Ohio Driver's License
Must be able to follow all safety rules and requirements
Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
