Seeking a Senior Accountant
Come join a growing leader in the Building Materials space.
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the Shared Services Controller and team in financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships along with various AP/AR liaison. They will collaborate with the operational and leadership teams to assist with information regarding the company's financial strategy and operations. This is a roll your sleeves up – onsite opportunity to become part of a large growing North American organization.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in Finance/Accounting with emphasis on general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, Building Materials experience a plus. Our offices are currently located in the Plano area, near Dallas North Tollway and George Bush Freeway.

Responsibilities
· Participate and collaborate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including external audit coordination and compliance requirements
· Support financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including corporate-level Q&A and variance analysis
· Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance accounting processes, business procedures, and internal controls
· Assist with business license and tax filings across city, state, local, and federal jurisdictions
· Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness
· Contribute to the annual budget process and ongoing financial forecasting efforts
· Support treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, cash management, working capital compliance, and coordination of bank audits
· Provide financial and operational support for ad hoc projects and special initiatives as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to perform effectively under pressure
· Strong capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
· Proven analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail
· Skilled at prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects, and adapting to dynamic, fast-paced work settings
· In-depth technical accounting expertise within manufacturing and production environments
· Solid background in inventory accounting and related financial processes
· Comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Qualifications
• BS in Accounting, CPA preferred
• Strong finance and accounting analytical skills
• 3-5 years' of finance experience
• Proficient in MS Office Suite of products
• Public Accounting Experience or Big 4 strongly preferred
