Job Description

Best Line Material Handling is seeking a skilled Road Service Technician based out of our Shippensburg, PA location. Our Road Service Technicians play a vital role providing mobile service throughout the Philadelphia and South Jersey areas. We equip our Road Service Technicians with cell phones, laptops, vehicles, fuel, and all necessary resources to ensure successful performance at off-site locations. The primary function of this position is to travel to site to troubleshoot, repair, service, and maintain a wide range of equipment, including but not limited to construction, landscape, heavy, aerial, industrial, agricultural, and fleet inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to job sites and customer locations to carry out assigned tasks.
• Participate in some on-call duties as required.
• Record repairs made, time spent on labor, and parts used.
• Full time position with excellent benefits and competitive compensation. 40-50 hours per week.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two year's experience in relevant fields such as automotive, truck, construction, industrial, or agricultural equipment troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repair.
• Must possess strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, computer skills, as well as solid electrical and mechanical abilities.
• Experience with DC electrical, hydraulic, combustion systems, and related skill sets is beneficial.
• Ability to utilize computers, schematics, repair manuals, and process warranty claims is an asset.
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Starting pay rate dependent on experience and certifications.
