Job Title: Residential Journeyman Electrician

Company: Golka Electric, Inc. (golkaelectric.com)

Location : Phoenix, AZ

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm MST (with flexibility for overtime and weekend work as needed)

Compensation: TBD

Position Summary:

Golka Electric, Inc., a leading electrical contractor in the Phoenix Metro Area, is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician with Lutron experience to join our team. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will utilize your expertise to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience, in-depth knowledge of electrical codes, and familiarity with Lutron lighting and system solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems while adhering to local, state, and national electrical codes
• Analyze blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical projects
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and other team members to ensure project efficiency
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems, identifying and resolving issues effectively
• Safely operate power and hand tools in accordance with industry safety standards and company policies
• Maintain precise records of work performed and materials used
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional
• Provide outstanding customer service through clear communication with clients and co workers

Qualifications:

• Valid journeyman electrician license or certification
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician
• Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical diagrams
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Skilled in using power and hand tools
• Extensive experience with commercial, residential, and industrial electrical systems
• Familiarity with Lutron lighting and other systems is a plus
• Dedication to safety protocols and best practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
