The Remote Commercial Estimator will be expected to:\n

\n
• Develop detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects in the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
\n
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary project details.
\n
• Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions, material costs, and labor rates.
\n
• Present cost estimates to stakeholders and provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities.
\n
• Track and manage project budgets to ensure alignment with estimates.
\n
• Assist in preparing bid proposals and negotiating contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company standards.
\n

A successful Remote Commercial Estimator should have:\n

• Prior hands on construction experience in a PM, PE, or Superintendent role earlier in their career.
\n
• Experience in cost estimating within the commercial construction industry.
\n
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and specifications.
\n
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
\n
• Ability to effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders.
\n
• Familiarity with estimating software and project management tools.
\n
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
\n
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
\n
