Our client – a pharmaceutical company, needs a Manager of Quality Control at their plant in northern NJ.

Job Summary:

• The Quality Control Manager is responsible for managing all daily activities of a QC team.

• The primary responsibility is to ensure that Quality Control personnel perform all testing accurately and as specified by the appropriate quality documentation while maintaining the lab instrumentation in accordance with approved procedures

Candidate Must Have :

• Bachelors of Science in Chemistry or related degree
• Min. 10 years of QA/QC experience
• Min. 3 years of QC Lab Management experience in the Pharma Industry
• Proficient in LIMS Software
• Good leadership skills to motivate plant personnel and gain their respect
• Strong working knowledge of ICH, cGMP, FDA and USP guidance
• Laboratory experience with a variety of analytical instruments including, GC, UV, HPLC, IR

• Candidate Nice to Have:

  • Advanced degree
  • Direct Interface experience with FDA during compliance audits.
  • Experience with remediation of Quality systems in FDA 483, or warning letter situations
