Pilatus is hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling, ordering, and coordinating the delivery of parts, materials, and office supplies. You will also audit purchase orders for delivery dates and maintain contact with vendors to insure timely delivery. A successful individual in this role will correspond with suppliers for quotations, follow-up on purchases, maintain records, and process returned goods. Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of parts and materials according to the production schedule, customer orders, and vendor contracts
• Processes approved purchase requests and issues purchase orders to suppliers in compliance with Rules of Authority and established procedures
• Receives vendor order confirmations, updates status and delivery dates, and attaches documentation
• Reviews open sales orders daily, processes requests, and obtains drop ship paperwork if needed
• Orders and restocks standard office supplies
• Generates stock orders based on established min/max levels
• Follows up on late and unconfirmed purchase orders as per automated emails
• Contacts vendors to verify shipment of goods on specified date
• Communicates with other departments and keeps them informed regarding status of order
• Resolves problems with suppliers regarding non-conformance issues for rejected items

Other Duties/Responsibilities

• Assists other departments with purchase requests
• Maintains archive of vendor correspondence and internal purchasing records
• Assists with other duties or special projects as assigned by Purchasing Manager

Skills/Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One to two years of related training and experience
• Business aviation knowledge preferred
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be able to prioritize the workload and produce high quality, detailed work on a consistent basis
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office software including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to learn and utilize aviation technical software; Quantum experience a plus

The salary range for this position is $26.03 - 33.11 per hour depending on experience. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
