Pump Truck Driver / Operator – CDL Required, Local Routes, Steady Hours Red Dirt Septic – Edmond, OK $20/hour and up depending on experience Looking for a stable, hands-on driving job with no overnight travel? In this essential role, you’ll drive and operate a pump truck to service wastewater tanks at homes and businesses throughout the OKC metro. Competitive Pay: Starting at $20/hour and up based on experience Home Nightly: All routes are local—no overnight travel Steady Work: Full-time hours in a growing, essential industry Trusted Company: Join a team known for reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction Supportive Environment: You’ll be trained, equipped, and respected What You’ll Do As a Pump Truck Driver / Operator, you’ll: Drive to residential and commercial job sites using a company pump truck Perform pre-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues Maintain and organize tools, hoses, and safety gear on the truck Locate and access wastewater tanks (may include hand digging when needed) Pump, transport, and properly dispose of wastewater at disposal facilities Keep accurate logs and service records in the truck Communicate clearly with the office and customers about job details Follow all safety and DOT regulations—this is a safety-sensitive role What You Bring To succeed in this role, you must have: A high school diploma or equivalent A valid CDL with tanker endorsement Physical ability to lift, dig, and work outdoors in various weather A clean driving record ( MVR required ) Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (per DOT requirements) Working Conditions Shift: Day shift (1st shift), with occasional overtime, evenings, and weekends Environment: Outdoor conditions—heat, rain, humidity, and physical labor Punctuality and reliability are essential to delivering great service Red Dirt Septic is an equal opportunity employer and proudly encourages veterans to apply.
