Psychiatrist

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team in Wyomissing, PA. This opportunity offers a blend of outpatient care and hospital-based consultative services. You will be instrumental in providing comprehensive assessments, evidence-based treatments, and collaborative care in a supportive environment. Compensation: $275,000.00 - $300,000.00

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care including assessments and treatments tailored to individual patient needs.
• Conduct consultative psychiatric services in hospital settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex clinical cases.
• Mentor and teach residents and medical students in our Psychiatry residency program, enhancing their clinical skills and understanding of psychiatric practices.
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to publications that help advance the field of psychiatry.
• Deliver presentations and training sessions on psychiatric topics for healthcare professionals within the organization.
• Develop and lead initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and the efficiency of psychiatric services provided.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency or fellowship program.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Psychiatry.
• Possession of a valid PA Medical License, or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
• Committed to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional subspecialty board certification in areas such as child and adolescent, forensic, or geriatric psychiatry.
• Experience in teaching and supervising medical students or residents.
• Engagement in clinical research projects with a record of published research in psychiatry.
• Leadership experience in a psychiatric department or large-scale clinical practice.
• Proficiency in a second language relevant to our patient demographics, such as Spanish.
