Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Project Scientist to join our client in Plainville, Connecticut. The Project Scientist will provide technical expertise to ensure the timely and accurate completion of assigned projects. This role involves developing designs, reports, and opinions as outlined in client contracts, and advising the Project Manager on project costs. Responsibilities include assisting with proposal estimates, participating in major project design decisions, and potentially serving as Project Manager on certain projects. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, or a related field, and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. Advanced degrees and experience with client management are a plus. The role requires the ability to work in various weather conditions and adhere to safety protocols.

Salary Range: 80K - 90K
Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, or a related science field.
-At least 5 years of experience in Field testing.
-Collection experience like: Soil Boring, Vaper samples, water samples, remediation soil evaporation, engineering control, vapor mitigation, NAPL (non-aqueous phase liquids)
