Job Description
Looking for a Professional Land Surveyor to play a crucial role to verify and set project control, survey pipe and structure layout, stake-out earthwork surfaces for construction, verify grades in the field match plans and CAD, survey and generate as-builts for payment verification and records, and closely work with the project team to optimize efficiency and ensure project milestones are met.
Duties:
Ensure accuracy and compliance with project plans and specifications
Collaborate with construction team and project engineers
Perform surveys using various tools and equipment including GPS
Evaluate AutoCAD drawings and project plans
Verify project control
Survey pipe and structure layout and as-builts
Survey earthwork surfaces for payment purposes and verify project was built to specified tolerances
Knowledge of Microsoft programs, AutoCAD and Trimble software
Requirements:
A valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in the state of Colorado is required
Field and office experience in land surveying is essential, and attention to detail is a must
The ability to work remotely is important
Experience using AutoCAD and Trimble is essential
