About the Role

The Company is in search of a President and Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization through a pivotal phase of transformation. The successful candidate will work closely with the Board of Directors to define and execute the strategic vision, ensuring that the healthcare system remains responsive to the needs of the community. This role is pivotal in driving strategic growth, enhancing operational and financial performance, and strengthening both physician and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in healthcare administration or an MBA, with a preference for membership in the American College of Healthcare Executives, and at least 5 years of CEO experience in a PPS healthcare system. Expertise in physician relations, particularly in recruitment, engagement, and collaboration, is essential, as is a deep understanding of federal healthcare regulations and programs such as the 340b Drug Pricing Program. The President and CEO will be responsible for the overall financial performance of the system, including budgeting, capital planning, and resource allocation. They will also be the primary spokesperson and advocate for the healthcare system, both in the community and beyond. A background in multi-specialty clinic operations and experience in a rural or community-based healthcare environment are preferred. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in healthcare leadership, particularly within independent or stand-alone health systems, and a strong passion for driving growth and success in a not-for-profit rural setting. The position requires a visionary leader who can build on the foundation set by the transitional team and is committed to positioning the healthcare system for long-term success in an evolving healthcare landscape.
