The Goddard School of Millburn is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and passionate  Pre-Kindergarten Teacher who will establish and maintain a safe, healthy, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.

As a teacher, you will:

• Lead and collaborate with your team to develop creative hands-on activities and projects based on your observations of children’s interests and skills.
• implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for assigned subject areas
• Provide learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, exploration, problem-solving, critical, and creative thinking
• Create and provide a supportive and caring classroom environment in which students learn cooperatively, and interact positively with one another
• Model respectful interactions with students of diverse backgrounds while responding to their individualized needs

Requirements:

• Two or More years minimum of teaching experience as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher
• Degree in education preferred
• Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Excellent communication and instructional skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $43,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year (based on years of expereince and educational credentials)
