The successful applicant will participate in a multidisciplinary project supported by the National Institutes of Health to study the molecular and cellular mechanisms driving liver regeneration in chronic liver disease and liver transplantation. The postdoctoral fellow will work in an interdisciplinary team to develop multiscale computational models of molecular, cellular, tissue, and organismal physiological processes governing liver regeneration and transplantation.
The position offers excellent scientific opportunities for cross training in leading edge quantitative and data analytical methods in a highly stimulating and diverse environment. The internationally collaborative research team includes faculty, staff, and students from many disciplinary backgrounds, including pathology, cell and molecular biology, engineering, bioinformatics, and computer science. The position is available immediately.
