St. Edith Stein School for Girls is hiring a physical education teacher & athletics director for the 2025-2026 academic year. Part time and full time positions are available. Candidates for the position should be willing to coach or assistant coach the following sports: Strength Training, Volleyball, Cross Country, Tennis. Middle School and High School Coach Key Responsibilities: Volleyball: Lead and coach both the middle school and high school volleyball teams, providing technical training, motivation, and strategy for team success. Tennis: Lead and coach both the middle school and high school tennis teams, focusing on individual player development, team strategy, and competitive performance. Create Practice/Games Schedule: Develop comprehensive schedules by communicating and coordinating with other local school coaches to arrange matches. Communicate with Parents: Ensure parents are kept informed regarding practice schedules, game schedules, and any updates or changes. Coordinate Team Transportation: Organize transportation for away games and events, ensuring student-athletes have safe and timely travel arrangements. Coordinate Gym Usage: Work directly with the Warren County Public Schools Office to ensure proper gym facilities are available for volleyball practices and games. Coordinate Tennis Court Usage: Collaborate with the local parks and recreation office to secure tennis courts for team practices and matches. Plan and Execute Practices: Design and implement effective volleyball practice sessions that focus on skill development, teamwork, fitness, and game/match strategy. Tailor practices to meet the needs of players at various skill levels. We are a school for grades 7th-12th dedicated to educating girls in their intellectual and spiritual development through a Catholic liberal arts education. Candidates should have an interest in the education of the whole person and nurturing authentic Christian femininity. Prior teaching experience and a Bachelor of Arts degree or higher preferred.
